Wearing facemasks in vehicles and in developed areas of municipalities
Wearing facemasks in vehicles and in developed areas of municipalities is compulsory from Wednesday 21 October.
Starting Wednesday, people also have to wear facemasks in vehicles if they are travelling with someone who is not a member of a shared household and in developed areas of municipalities open to the public if there are more than two people present, who are closer than two metres from each other and who are not members of the same household.
Healthcare facilities providing subsequent and long-term care and residential social facilities are required to reserve ward capacities for clients with Covid-19, and the practical tuition and training of pupils and students of medical programmes is newly not included in the prohibition of the operation of school facilities. Hospitals must now report the admission of patients with Covid-19 to their wards to the ISIN care coordination system within one hour. More information is available in Extraordinary Measures.
