Pinning ultrasmall greigite nanoparticles on graphene for effective transition-metal-sulfide supercapacitors in an ionic liquid electrolyte

By pinning ultrasmall iron-sulfide nanoparticles on cyanographene, scientists developed an effective supercapacitor. This was achieved by leveraging the redox chemistry of thiocubane units after their integration with highly functionalized graphene.
