Education
Graduated in Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology at “Politecnico di Milano”, Italy, in 2014. At the same Institution, he earned his PhD in Energy and Nuclear Science and Technology in 2018 with a thesis related to Hierarchical TiO2 Nanostructures for Water Splitting Applications.
Since April 2018 he as a Post-Doctoral Researcher position in the Photoelectrochemistry Group of the Regional Centre of Advanced Technologies and Materials (RCPTM), Palacký University, Olomouc, Czech Republic.
Research Interest
Luca’s activities at RCPTM are related to the fabrication and optical characterization of nanostructured TiN materials with plasmonic properties and their application in solar-energy conversion processes, including photocatalysis and steam generation.
